The basic clock module+ provides the clocks for MSP430x2xx devices. This chapter describes the operation of the basic clock module+ of the MSP430x2xx device family. In this session I have discussed the basic modules of the BCM+ and along with it I have tried my level best to explain the internal register and their controlling bits. This session basically introduces you to why and how you should set the bits in the BCM+ registers to get optimum, required, conformable yet non-wasting clocking to run your MCU main CPU, the auxiliaries and the peripherals.
Here goes the video (please share this video and like it if you are benefitted):
I presume that you have either ordered or is in the planning of buying the Launchpad. If not, please do it because the next video in this very post will be register configuration which will need the LP to test. I will NEVER TEACH YOU TO USE STANDARD LIBRARIES (except higher order functions like Bluetooth stack handling, simplelink, tcp/ip stack handling, etc). YOU MUST BE ABLE TO CONFIGURE THE REGISTER CONTROL BITS YOURSELF TO GET WHAT YOU WANT. SO THE NEXT VIDEO THAT WILL BE IN THIS VERY POST, JUST BELOW THIS WRITING WILL CONTAIN EXPLANATION ON HOW TO CONFIGURE THE CLOCKING REGISTERS AND I WILL RUN THEM ON LAUNCHPAD.
REMEMBER, I HAVE ONLY EXPLAINED THE BASICS, YOU MUST GO THROUGH THE DETAILS OF CHAPTER 5 TO GET MORE CLEARER VIEW OF BCM+
