This device is very simple, yet powerful. If you need to sense any physical parameter using analog sensors and want to control it from a remote location using ON-OFF control mechanism, then this device is for you. This device has 4 channel analog sensing and controls up to 5 x 230 VAC 1 Ph. Loads through relays wherein the set point can be provided by you over the web portal ( also using your mobile phone over SMS in some old models) to the device.
Features include IoT reporting at website where you can see your parameters online along with historical graphical data and the status of the control loads .
Description of the project:
This IOT project can acquire data (from 4 sensors concurrently in the range of 0 – 5 V) of any physical parameter (like temperature, pressure, flow, level, humidity, RH, combustible gas PPM, alcohol, water contamination, Oxygen, SOx, NOx, etc) and then check if the value is within a user defined limit or not. This limit can be set by the user by sending a SMS to the device directly.
However, if the limit is above the normal range, it will generate a long distance data communication over RS485 to activate a controller at the remote location to bring the parameter to the required limit. Also this constantly measured parameter as well as the status of the controllers are constantly updated to a website using IOT features.
The setpoint to the device can be sent using the SMS that is initiated from the device itself (lately it has been deprecated and the set point is taken directly from the IOT portal). However, in this prototype, the receiving mobile number is pre-programmed inside the flash. You must remember that this device (both slave and master are just a basic introductory platform for you. You can always develop more innovative and complex projects out of these). This device is available for sale at a very low nominal price.
